About MAPS.ME
MAPS.ME is a mobile map app built around offline use. You download the map for a region in advance, then search, browse and plan routes without a data connection. This makes it handy when travelling abroad or in areas with poor coverage.
The app began as a lightweight offline OpenStreetMap viewer. It is now owned by Daegu Limited and puts more weight on travel discovery alongside navigation. It is available for iPhone, iPad and Android, and a web version is also offered.
