About MetaGer
MetaGer is a metasearch engine run by the German non-profit SUMA-EV. Instead of an account, users get an automatically generated key and add credit to it with a one-time payment; about 500 tokens (5 euros) usually lasts around two months. The key works on any number of devices and can be shared.
Besides ad-free, tracking-free search, the key unlocks anonymous browsing, which opens websites in a browser running on MetaGer's servers so sites cannot see who you are.
