About MFLUX
MFLUX is a line-by-line port of several generative image models from the Hugging Face Diffusers and Transformers libraries to Apple's MLX framework. The models are implemented from scratch in MLX, so they run natively on a Mac without PyTorch.
You install it with uv and generate images from the command line. Models download automatically on first use. A Python API is also available for scripting. It suits Mac users who want local image generation from a terminal rather than a graphical app.
