About Midnight Commander
Midnight Commander presents two directory panels in a text interface with keyboard-driven copying, moving and searching, a built-in editor and viewer, transparent archive browsing and virtual filesystems for FTP, SFTP and more. It has been maintained since 1994 and works over any SSH session.
