About MobaXterm

MobaXterm bundles what a Windows administrator otherwise installs separately. It is a tabbed SSH client with an X11 server built in, so remote graphical applications display on your desktop; it also speaks RDP, VNC, FTP, SFTP, Mosh, telnet and serial, and carries Unix commands such as bash, ls, grep, sed, awk and rsync.

The useful touch is that connecting over SSH automatically opens a graphical SFTP browser for that session, so editing a remote file is a double-click. The Home Edition is free but limits the number of saved sessions, tunnels and macros, and the Professional Edition is a paid licence.
