About Money Manager Ex

Money Manager Ex aims at the features most people actually want from personal finance software rather than at completeness. Checking, credit card, savings, stock investment and asset accounts, unlimited nested categories, multiple tags per split transaction, reminders for scheduled bills and deposits, budgeting with cash flow forecasting, and one-click reports with graphs and charts.

Data lives in a non-proprietary SQLite database with AES encryption available, on your machine. There is no account, no cloud service and nothing linking to your bank; you import from CSV and QIF files instead.

It runs on Linux, macOS and Windows with portable versions that run from a USB stick, and there are Android and iOS companions.
