About MuseScore Studio
MuseScore Studio is a full notation editor: notes go onto a virtual page, a built-in sequencer and synthesiser play the score back, and the result prints or exports to PDF at any size without going fuzzy. Note entry works from the keyboard, the mouse or a MIDI instrument.
It imports and exports MusicXML, MIDI and MEI, so scores move between MuseScore, Sibelius and Finale. The separate musescore.com score-sharing site is a paid subscription service; the program itself is free and GPL licensed.
