About NetworkMiner
NetworkMiner parses pcap files or live traffic and reconstructs hosts, sessions, transferred files, images, certificates and credentials, presenting them as objects rather than packets, so a capture can be examined without deep protocol knowledge.
Strengths
- Reconstructs transferred files and images straight out of a capture
- Host-centric view is far easier to read than a packet list
Limitations
- Some parsers and advanced features require NetworkMiner Professional.
- The Windows application can run on other supported systems through Mono.
