About NextPush
NextPush is an Android app that receives push notifications for UnifiedPush-compatible apps through a Nextcloud server instead of Google services. The server needs the UnifiedPush provider app installed, and NextPush then passes incoming messages on to the apps that use it.
It suits people who already run Nextcloud and use a de-Googled Android phone. The app is written in Kotlin, is available on F-Droid, and received a new release in September 2026.
