About NomadBSD
NomadBSD is a live operating system that runs from a USB flash drive and keeps your changes between boots. It is based on FreeBSD and detects and sets up hardware automatically, so it works as a ready-to-use desktop.
It can also be used for data recovery, teaching, or checking FreeBSD hardware compatibility on a machine. Images for 64-bit and 32-bit computers fit on a 5 GB drive, boot through BIOS or UEFI, and run on a 1.2 GHz CPU with 1 GB of RAM (2 GB for the ZFS version).
