About Nuke
Nuke is a node-based compositing application used in post-production for feature films, episodic television and animation. It offers more than 200 nodes on a scalable node graph and image processing engine, and supports industry standards such as OpenEXR, along with Hydra and USD.
Deep compositing tools let artists work with images holding several opacity, color and depth samples per pixel, which reduces the need to re-render CG elements when shots change. The wider Nuke family includes Hiero for editorial and review. It is aimed at studios and professional VFX artists.
