About Offcloud
Offcloud is a web-based download service. Its servers fetch files from torrents, magnet links and hundreds of supported sites, then make them available as fast direct downloads, so the downloading happens away from your own connection.
It can also back up online content to a private space and transfer data to remote storage such as FTP or cloud services. An API and tools are available. The service was rebuilt by a new team, keeping existing accounts.
Strengths
- Downloads torrents on its servers without exposing your IP
- Remote upload to FTP and cloud storage
- API for automation
Limitations
- Requires a paid plan
- Recently rebuilt by a new team, so features may still change
