About OoT Randomizer
OoT Randomizer takes your own copy of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the Nintendo 64 and moves its items to new locations. Its logic checks that every seed can be finished without glitches and cannot softlock through key usage in dungeons. Many further options can be shuffled, including dungeon and boss entrances, songs, shop prices, pots, crates and starting inventory.
The developers recommend the web generator. You can also run it yourself as a Python script with a graphical or command-line interface. Output can be a .z64 ROM, a Wii Virtual Console .wad, or a patch file for sharing seeds.
