About Open Food Facts
Open Food Facts is a non-profit database of food products built by volunteers, covering more than 4.7 million products. You can scan a barcode or type it in to see ingredients, nutrition facts, the Nutri-Score, NOVA group and Green-Score, and compare products.
The data is open, so anyone can reuse it, including through an API. The mobile app for Android and iPhone scans products and lets you add missing items from your own kitchen. The project is funded by donations and stays independent of the food industry.
