About OpenConnect
OpenConnect is a multi-protocol SSL VPN client that connects to corporate VPN servers without the vendor's own software. It supports Cisco AnyConnect, Juniper, Pulse Connect Secure, Palo Alto GlobalProtect, F5 Big-IP, Fortinet Fortigate and Array Networks.
It was started because the Cisco client on Linux lacked features such as using certificates from a TPM or PKCS#11 smartcard. It is not affiliated with those vendors. A companion server, ocserv, implements an improved version of the AnyConnect protocol.
