About parsedmarc
parsedmarc parses aggregate and failure DMARC reports, as well as SMTP TLS reporting data. It can read reports from an inbox over IMAP, Microsoft Graph or Gmail API, and transparently handles gzip and zip compressed reports.
Results can be written as JSON or CSV, emailed, or sent to services including Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Splunk and PostgreSQL for dashboards. The project describes itself as a self-hosted alternative to commercial DMARC report processing services.
Strengths
- Parses aggregate and failure DMARC reports
- Also handles SMTP TLS reporting
- Exports JSON or CSV and supports several dashboard backends
Limitations
- Dashboard use requires a separate supported service
- Maintained by one developer
