About PieFed

PieFed is a federated forum and link aggregator in the style of Reddit, compatible with Lemmy communities. Users join communities, post links and discussions, and interact with other fediverse servers. It is written mainly in Python and developed on Codeberg with frequent commits and tagged releases.

Anyone can join the flagship instance at piefed.social or run their own using the standard or Docker installation guides. Recent work includes RSS bots that can post into moderator-only communities and a plugin system documented in the repository.
