About PoMiDAQ
PoMiDAQ records video from UCLA Miniscope devices, creates Z-stacks, and performs online background subtraction to provide an initial view of cellular calcium activity during recording.
It supports Miniscope V3, V4, and Siminiscope hardware with the standard DAQ box v3.2. Recordings use FFV1 by default, and the software is also designed to provide a shared library for other programs and pipelines.
Strengths
- Records videos and creates Z-stacks
- Shows an initial background-subtracted view of calcium activity during recording
- Supports several UCLA Miniscope hardware models
Limitations
- Requires compatible Miniscope hardware and a DAQ box
