About qrencode
qrencode is a utility that turns input data into a QR Code image. It ships with libqrencode, a compact C library that generates QR Code Model 2 symbols as defined in JIS X0510:2004 and needs no external files at runtime.
QR codes can hold around 7000 digits or about 4000 alphanumeric characters with error correction. The tool suits anyone who wants to make QR codes from a script or terminal. ECI and FNC1 embedding and Model 1 codes are not supported.
