About Quickshell
Quickshell provides building blocks for desktop components such as status bars, widgets and lockscreens, written with QtQuick. Rather than shipping a fixed bar, it runs the configuration you write, so the result can range from a simple panel to a complete custom desktop shell.
The site showcases community configurations, several of them installable or published as source, which gives a starting point for newcomers. Version 0.3.1 was released in August 2026, and documentation covers installation and the available types.
