About rcmd
rcmd replaces repeated Command-Tab presses. Hold the right Command key and press the first letter of an app to focus it, or to launch it if it is not running. Letters are assigned automatically, and you can set your own. The left Command key keeps its normal shortcuts.
Holding the key and typing runs a fuzzy search across apps and open windows. From the results you can close, quit or hide windows. It is available as a free download or through Homebrew. A Pro licence costs 15 euros for lifetime use.
