About ReactOS
ReactOS is an operating system built from scratch to be compatible with Windows NT. Its goal is to let you run Windows applications and drivers in an open-source environment instead of on Microsoft's own system.
Version 0.4.16 was released in August 2026 after a year and a half of development. It adds a new graphical installer and a single image that works as both installer and live CD, with improvements to the video, audio, networking and storage stacks. Nightly builds are available for the latest fixes. It suits enthusiasts, testers and developers interested in Windows compatibility.

- Single image that works as installer and live CD
- Nightly builds available alongside stable releases
