About Readable

Readable scores text with Flesch reading ease, Flesch-Kincaid grade level, Gunning Fog, SMOG and other formulas, plus its own algorithm. It also checks spelling, grammar, style issues, cliches and profanity, and highlights the passages that most need attention.

It can analyse pasted text, Word documents, PDFs, single web pages or whole websites, and scores update as you edit. An API lets other systems send text for scoring. It suits writers, marketers and educators who need content at a specific reading level.
