About Rectangle
macOS still has no proper window snapping, and Rectangle is the standard fix. Keyboard shortcuts move and resize the front window into halves, thirds, quarters, corners or full screen, and dragging a window to a screen edge or corner shows a preview of where it will land before you release.
It is a continuation of Spectacle, which was abandoned, and is free and MIT licensed with no upsell in the app. A separate paid Rectangle Pro from the same developer adds more layouts and features, but the free version covers what most people mean by window snapping.
