About RecurseChat
RecurseChat is a Mac app for chatting with language models. It runs GGUF and Hugging Face models on your own machine without an internet connection, and it can also connect to OpenAI-compatible endpoints or to cloud providers such as Claude and ChatGPT.
A floating chat window opens from any app with a keyboard shortcut. You can chat with PDFs, Markdown and text files using local RAG with on-device embeddings, and you can import your ChatGPT history. It is a one-time purchase with a free trial, not a subscription.
