About REDbot

REDbot is lint for HTTP resources. You type a URI into the page, optionally add request headers, and it fetches the resource and reports on protocol correctness, cacheability, content negotiation and related behaviour.

A bookmarklet is offered so you can check the page you are viewing with one click. The current release is version 2.6.2, built on the httplint library. It suits developers and operators who want to confirm that a server sends sensible caching and HTTP headers.
