About RisuAI
RisuAI, or Risu for short, is chat software built for roleplaying and storytelling with large language models. It connects to OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, DeepInfra, OpenRouter and Ooba back ends. It supports group chats with several characters, character images that change with expressions, and lorebooks that give characters longer memory.
Regex scripts can reshape model output into a custom interface. Plugins add features and providers, and an automatic translator lets you chat in a language the model does not handle well. It runs as a web application, and the repository includes a Dockerfile for hosting your own copy.
