About rmlint
rmlint scans a filesystem for wasted space and broken things, such as duplicate files and directories, empty files and folders, and similar lint. Instead of deleting anything itself, it produces a report and a script you can review and then run to remove what it found.
It is built for speed on large collections. The repository also includes a graphical interface alongside the command-line tool, and the project is open source with ongoing development on GitHub.
