About s3cmd
s3cmd is a Python command-line tool for working with Amazon S3 and other services that use the S3 protocol, such as Google Cloud Storage and DreamHost DreamObjects. It uploads, retrieves, lists and syncs files, and manages buckets and data stored in them.
It is aimed at power users who are comfortable in a terminal and fits well into batch scripts and automated backups started from cron. It runs on Linux and macOS and is released under the GPLv2; you only pay your storage provider.
