About scrcpy
scrcpy mirrors an Android device over USB or over the network and sends keyboard and mouse input back. It needs no root access and installs nothing on the phone: it pushes a temporary server, runs it, and removes it when you disconnect. Startup is about a second and latency is in the range of thirty-five to seventy milliseconds.
It also forwards audio on Android 11 and later, records the session, mirrors with the phone screen off, copies and pastes in both directions, mirrors the camera on Android 12 and later, and on Linux can present the phone as a webcam.
