About Shodan
Shodan crawls the public internet and catalogues the services, banners and metadata of devices it finds, from web servers and databases to webcams, routers and industrial control systems. You can search by port, product, location or organisation to see what is exposed on a given network.
The Shodan Monitor feature watches your own IP ranges and alerts you when something unexpected appears, and the whole platform is available through an API for developers. A browser add-on shows Shodan data for the site you are visiting.
