About Shpotify

Shpotify is a Bash and AppleScript tool for controlling the Spotify desktop app from the command line on a Mac. It can be used remotely over SSH to control Spotify on another machine.

Music search through Spotify's API requires a Spotify developer application and credentials in the tool's configuration file. Spotify's desktop application is also required.
