About Shufflecake
Shufflecake creates several hidden volumes on one storage device. Each volume is encrypted with a different key and scattered across the free space of the device, so it looks like random noise until it is unlocked. Even the number of volumes stays hidden, which lets you put decoy volumes above more secret ones.
It runs natively on Linux, works with any filesystem you choose and can manage multiple nested volumes on each device. The project describes itself as a spiritual successor to the hidden volumes in TrueCrypt and VeraCrypt. It is aimed at whistleblowers, journalists and activists under pressure from authorities.
