About SingleFile
SingleFile captures a page exactly as rendered, inlining images, stylesheets, fonts and frames into a single HTML file that opens in any browser with no supporting folder. It can save selections, annotate pages, batch-save tabs and automate saving on a schedule.
Strengths
- One file with everything inlined, including images and fonts
- Saves what is rendered, so pages built by JavaScript are captured correctly
Limitations
- Files are large because everything is embedded
- Interactive and streaming content cannot be preserved
