About slurp
slurp lets you drag out a region in a Wayland compositor and prints that region to standard output. On its own it does not take screenshots; it is designed to be piped into other tools, most often grim, to capture a selected area.
It is a small C program built with meson and suits users of Sway and similar compositors who assemble their screenshot workflow from scripts and key bindings.
