About SnappyMail
SnappyMail is a web-based email client you run on your own server to read and send mail from a browser. It is a fork of RainLoop, heavily reworked for browsers from 2020 onward.
The project focuses on speed and size: the mobile client loads with a download of around 138 KB using Brotli and scores highly in Lighthouse performance tests. A public demo is available on the website, and the source code, releases and wiki are on GitHub. It suits people who host their own mail and want a light webmail front end.
