About Speech Note
Speech Note lets you dictate, read aloud and translate notes in many languages. All processing runs locally, and no data is sent to the internet. Speech recognition engines include whisper.cpp, Faster Whisper, Vosk and Coqui STT. Voices come from Piper, Kokoro, espeak-ng, RHVoice, Coqui TTS and several other engines. Translation uses Bergamot Translator.
Models are not bundled with the installer. You download the ones you need through a model browser inside the app. It runs on the Linux desktop, where it is distributed as a Flatpak, and on Sailfish OS.
