About Speechnotes
Speechnotes has two parts. The first is an online dictation notepad for writing notes by voice, with voice commands for punctuation and formatting, automatic capitalization and import and export options. The second is a transcription service that turns uploaded audio and video recordings, including YouTube videos, into text and can also translate them.
The service has been running since 2015. It also offers an Android app and a WhatsApp bot for transcription. It suits students, journalists and writers who want free dictation in the browser or quick transcripts of recordings.
