About sqldiff
sqldiff compares two SQLite database files and normally prints an SQL script that transforms the source database into the destination. Options can limit comparison to a table or schema, produce a summary, or write a binary changeset.
It does not report trigger or view differences. Changeset output also omits certain tables without usable row identifiers or explicit primary keys.
Strengths
- Generates SQL to apply one database's content changes to another
- Can show schema or table-only differences
- Supports summary and changeset output
Limitations
- Does not compare triggers or views
- Changeset output omits some tables
