About Stims
Stims lets you choose apps that should prevent the screen from turning off. A background service checks which app is in the foreground and holds a wake lock while a selected app is active.
It requires Usage Access permission. On Samsung devices running One UI, it also requires permission to display over other apps.
Strengths
- Keeps the display awake only for selected apps
- Designed to handle aggressive device power managers
Limitations
- Requires Usage Access permission
- Samsung One UI requires display-over-other-apps permission
