About Stubby

Stubby runs as a local resolver on your machine and forwards every DNS query over TLS to upstream privacy-respecting resolvers, so the network between you and the resolver cannot read or tamper with lookups. It can be pointed at several upstreams with strict or opportunistic profiles.

Strengths

  • Strict profile refuses to fall back to unencrypted DNS
