About The Bat!
The Bat! is a desktop email client for Windows that stores your messages on your own computer rather than with a cloud provider. It can keep its whole message base encrypted on disk, supports end-to-end encryption for sending mail, and blocks malicious code and tracking pixels in incoming messages.
It works with any number of accounts over IMAP, POP and MAPI, and it is built to handle very large message bases quickly with a small memory footprint. The MailTicker adds a scrolling desktop indicator for new mail.
