About Tree Style Tab
Tree Style Tab puts tabs in the sidebar as a tree, where a link opened from a page becomes a child of it, so long research sessions stay organised and whole branches can be collapsed or closed together. Appearance and behaviour are heavily configurable.
Strengths
- Branches can be collapsed or closed as a unit, which tames deep research sessions
- Very configurable appearance and behaviour
Limitations
- Firefox only
- Hiding the native tab strip requires editing userChrome.css
