About Twinmotion
Twinmotion turns 3D data from design tools into rendered images, animations and immersive walkthroughs in real time. It is aimed at architects, product designers and others who need to present a design to clients or stakeholders before it is built.
Models come in through Datasmith import. Version 2026.1, released in April 2026, added photo matching, automatic edge softening, real-world lens effects and customizable particle effects for fire, water, smoke and fog. Licensing details are on the website.
