About Waydroid
Waydroid boots a full Android system inside a Linux container using namespaces and LXC, giving it direct access to needed hardware through the binder interface. Android apps appear in the Linux applications menu and can run in a multi-window mode alongside desktop apps, or in a full Android UI for gaming and kiosks.
It works on arm, arm64, x86 and x86_64 systems running a Wayland desktop, including mobile Linux distributions, and uses AOSP mesa for near-native graphics performance.
