About WinDefThreatsView
WinDefThreatsView shows every threat detected by Windows Defender Antivirus, with file name, threat name, severity, process, detection and remediation times and current status. You can select several threats at once and set their default action to Allow, Quarantine, Clean, Remove, Block or No Action, for example to clear a batch of false positives.
It works on the local computer or on a remote one when you have WMI access, and exports to text, CSV, HTML, XML or JSON. Changing actions requires running it as administrator.
Strengths
- Bulk default actions for many threats at once
- Works on remote computers through WMI
- Export including JSON
- Quick link to Microsoft's threat information page
Limitations
- Runs only on Windows 11, 10 and 8.1, though Windows 7 can connect to a remote Windows 10/11 machine
- Only covers Windows Defender detections
- Setting actions requires administrator rights
