About Writing Tools
Writing Tools brings Apple Intelligence-style writing tools to any application. You select text anywhere on the desktop and ask it to proofread or rewrite it, and it can also summarize content such as web pages and YouTube videos.
It runs on Windows and Linux, with a separate native Swift port for macOS. It can use the free Gemini API, local LLMs and other providers, so text can stay on your own machine if you run a local model.
