About Xnec2c
Xnec2c is an interactive graphical version of NEC2 for antenna simulation and analysis. It displays radiation patterns, near fields, antenna structure, gain, input impedance, and VSWR, and includes an editor for NEC2 input files.
Frequency sweeps can run across multiple processes. Linux packages are available through Flathub.
Strengths
- Graphs radiation patterns and frequency related measurements
- Edits NEC2 input files in the application
- Supports multi-process frequency sweeps
Limitations
- It does not print results in NEC2 output-file format; the manual recommends the original NEC2 program when that output is needed.
