About XOutput
XOutput reads a DirectInput game controller, such as an older gamepad, wheel or joystick, and sends its input to a virtual XInput (Xbox 360) controller, so games that only support Xbox controllers can use it.
It needs a separate emulation driver, ViGEmBus or the older ScpToolkit, and both are deprecated. The author has marked XOutput itself as deprecated for that reason; the 3.x line lost support in December 2024 and the repository is archived. The last release is 3.32 from February 2021.
