About Xubuntu
Xubuntu is an operating system developed by volunteers that combines Ubuntu with the Xfce desktop. It aims to be light enough to get the most out of a machine while keeping enough features for daily work, and it is modular and configurable.
User documentation ships with each release. The current release, Xubuntu 26.04, came out in April 2026 and is supported until April 2029.
